Former Phillie Chris Coghlan became the early leader for the holder of baseball’s top play of the year Tuesday when he leaped over Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina and landed on home plate to score the go-ahead run for the Blue Jays in the seventh inning. The Blue Jays eventually won the game, 6-5, in 11 innings. Coghlan could have done this in a Phillies uniform, but the team released him back on March 28 to clear the way for Brock Stassi.
