Boston Bruins
The Stanley Cup Playoffs showcase hockey at the highest level, and there’s often a lot left on the ice after a tough loss in a close game. Still, players are able to conduct themselves in a professional manner and move on to the next game. That’s not always the case with fans, though, which we saw after Game 3 of the Senators-Bruins series was in the books. It was a thrilling game at TD Garden, with the Senators jumping out to a 3-0 lead, and the home team eventually scoring three of their own to tie it and force overtime. Boston Bruins fans had a meltdown after Monday’s loss to Ottawa, throwing garbage on the ice and trying to steal sticks from Senators players. There was a controversial ending to Monday’s Game 3 between the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins, with Bobby Ryan scoring the game winner after drawing a soft penalty and avoiding one of his own. The ending didn’t sit well with Bruins fans after watching their team come back from a 3-0 deficit only to squander the win and fall behind in the best-of-seven series. Continue to Article

The Ottawa Senators needed a late rally in Game 2 to tie up their Eastern Conference quarterfinal matchup with the Boston Bruins. In Game 3, they had to stave off a furious charge by the Bruins to regain the series lead. Bobby Ryan scored on a tip-in on a power play 5:43 into overtime, and Ottawa recovered after giving up a three-goal lead to beat Boston 4-3 Monday night and take a 2-1 edge in the first-round series.
