Nestled off Markham Woods Road in Seminole County, the former home of former Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard hit the market with an asking price of $4.9 million. Nisim and Esther Heletz purchased the three-acre lakefront estate, which has five bedrooms and 10,698 square feet of living space, for $3.4 million in 2014, records show. At the time, the asking price had been $4.9 million. Howard paid $7.7 million for the Street of Dreams winner at the peak of the market in 2008. Located at 3565 Rice Lake Loop, the home features travertine columns near the entry and ceiling heights of 20-36 feet on the first floor. HOUSTON (AP) When J.J. Watt attended the Houston Rockets’ playoff game on Sunday night, he got a front-row view of Patrick Beverley‘s intensity. The Houston Texans star defensive end was taken aback when Beverley walked over to his courtside seat during a timeout and simply stood in front of him and stared for several seconds. “I was like: `Pat, I don’t know what you want me to do here, man. I can’t really do anything,”‘ Watt said. “He’s just staring me down. And my girlfriend looked at me and she was like: `That was kind of cool and kind of awkward at the same time.’ I was like: `Yeah it was.’ I didn’t know what to do.” Watt finally broke the stalemate by high-fiving the guard, a well-deserved Continue to Article

Rudy Gobert appeared headed toward a breakout postseason. Just 11 seconds into it, he injured his knee. Though an MRI revealed no structural damage, Gobert isn’t returning yet. Tony Jones of The Salt Lake Tribune: The Jazz center will miss Tuesday’s Game 2 against the Los Angeles Clippers with a hyperextended knee, The Salt Lake Tribune has learned. If the Jazz are taking this game by game, we’re probably in line for a few more of these updates. I doubt Gobert returns effectively anytime soon, though he could try to grind it out during this series. Utah won Game 1 anyway, but the Clippers remain favored in each game without Gobert, especially in L.A. The Jazz – with Derrick Favors, Jeff Withey Continue to Article

Perched atop the stone fireplace, an Atlanta Hawks logo presides over Shawn and Carol Teague’s living room. It’s one of five identical trophies acknowledging the Co-Eastern Conference Players of the Month from January 2015, when the couple’s son, Jeff, Kyle Korver, DeMarre Carroll, Paul Millsap and Al Horford quite literally dominated the NBA. Atlanta’s perfect 170 slate set a record for the most prolific month in league history. Continue to Article

Isaiah Thomas took to the floor on Sunday for Game 1 of the first round against the Chicago Bulls. His sister, Chyna, passed away on Saturday in a car accident in Washington. Understandably emotional, the team honored Chyna’s memory with a moment of silence before the game. Thomas would go on to score 33 points on 10-of-18 shooting, adding six assists, five rebounds, and a steal. Chicago stole a win on the road, 106-102. But before the game took place, TNT cameras caught a touching moment between Celtics teammate Avery Bradley and Thomas. Sitting on the bench together, Bradley consoled Thomas as emotion overcame him. After the game, Bradley complimented Thomas and reiterated that it was hard Continue to Article
