Milwaukee Bucks
Milwaukee Bucks big man Thon Maker marked his first postseason game with a block party in familiar surroundings. The 7-foot-1 rookie wasn't worried about performing under playoff pressure against the Toronto Raptors, even if just a year ago he was a little-known prospect who played prep ball in Ontario. The Bucks hope the 20-year-old can help the team secure another first-round playoff win on the road when Milwaukee visits the Raptors for Game 2 on Tuesday night. Continue to Article

Toronto Raptors
Kyle Lowry is experiencing playoff deja vu, only with a twist. The All Star point guard for the Toronto Raptors says his latest Game 1 failure doesn't just feel familiar, it's even worse than those that came before. Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks left the Toronto Raptors behind - again. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 28 points, rookie Malcolm Brogdon had 16 and the Bucks beat the Raptors 97-83 on Saturday night in Game 1 of the first-round playoff series. ''Our second half was just abysmal,'' Raptors coach Dwane Casey said. Continue to Article

Milwaukee Bucks
In an NBA tradition that is maybe only matched by the TNT Bulls, the Toronto Raptors lost Game 1 of their first-round playoff series on Saturday. Toronto is 111 all-time in opening games, and this time, the Raps were bested by a young, lanky Milwaukee Bucks team that imposed their will from the opening tip. The Raptors’ offensive problems begin-as usual-with their backcourt. Continue to Article
