MILWAUKEE - A deadly Saturday morning crash marks the first motorcycle-related fatality in the city of Milwaukee this year. It happened shortly after 10 a.m. at W. Appleton Avenue and W. Silver Spring Drive. Police say a 33-year-old man traveling at a high rate of speed on his motorcycle when he was struck by the driver of a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Lifesaving measures were performed on the motorcycle rider but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The adult male driver of the Jeep was uninjured and remained on scene.
