The Chicago Bulls are attempting to maintain their hold on an NBA playoff berth, but on Tuesday night, they let a game slip through their fingers. The Bulls (38-40) lost 100-91 to the New York Knicks on Tuesday, and they are in a three-way tie for the final two Eastern Conference playoff spots with Indiana and Miami. "We didn't come out with the fire that we needed to," All-Star swingman Jimmy Butler said. Continue to Article

Dwyane Wade might not be out for the season, after all. The 35-year-old shooting guard suffered the injury during the Chicago Bulls’ March 15 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Brooklyn Nets
The Brooklyn Nets, long languishing out of NBA playoff contention, are looking to the future -- and a third straight win, 141-118 over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, is a step in the right direction. "We are getting better, and I'm just thankful to see that," said Jeremy Lin, whose 16 points matched the 16 of teammate Brook Lopez in the blow-out victory. Lin's three-point play just before the halftime buzzer gave the Nets 81 first-half points -- matching a 34-year-old club record. Continue to Article

Orlando Magic
Patricio Garino signs a contract in front of a list of his potential replacements. The Orlando Magic signed Argentinian wing Patricio Garino for the remainder of the season on Monday — a roster-filling move for a lottery-bound team that normally wouldn’t make headlines. Only, by doing so, the Magic inadvertently gave the rest of the NBA a window into their offseason plans. Continue to Article
