Flyers rookie goalie Anthony Stolarz made the best of a scary situation. Stolarz stopped 26 shots after replacing Michael Neuvirth early in the first period and the Philadelphia Flyers beat the New Jersey Devils 3-0 Saturday night. Stolarz, who arrived at the Wells Fargo Center just five minutes before the opening faceoff as an injury replacement for Steve Mason, entered the game 7 1/2 minutes into the first period after Neuvirth collapsed in his crease. Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Michal Neuvirth collapsed during a stoppage of play in his team’s Saturday game against the New Jersey Devils and was wheeled off the ice on a stretcher. Sidney Crosby came through to help the Pittsburgh Penguins pull out another close win. The Penguins' captain scored a goal and an assist in regulation and then got the clinching tally in the shootout to help Pittsburgh snap a four-game skid with a 4-3 victory over the New York Rangers on Friday night.
