The Calgary Flames’ Mark Giordano, middle, celebrates with teammate Sean Monahan, right, after Monahan scored the game-winning goal in overtime against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. The Calgary Flames let their emotions get the better of them against the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday night. In the process, the Flames (43-30-4) dropped a 4-1 decision to the Kings at the Scotiabank Saddledome and missed out on an opportunity to qualify for the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Penguins have lost four straight -- they were drubbed at home 5-1 by the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night -- and are without eight players due to injuries, including Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang.
