The Calgary Flames let their emotions get the better of them against the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday night. In the process, the Flames (43-30-4) dropped a 4-1 decision to the Kings at the Scotiabank Saddledome and missed out on an opportunity to qualify for the Stanley Cup playoffs. On the bright side, the Pittsburgh Penguins have already clinched a playoff spot and still have a very good chance at earning home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
