Spurs star LaMarcus Aldridge was cleared to return to full basketball activities and will start Wednesday night against the Portland Trail Blazers with no restrictions, the team announced. Aldridge missed two games after being diagnosed with a minor heart arrhythmia, but San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich revealed Wednesday that the 31-year-old forward has been concerned about the condition all season. The Warriors improved their record to 22-5 against Eastern teams this season with a hard-fought, 106-104 home win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night. San Antonio Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge was reinstated to the NBA club's lineup Wednesday when doctors approved the move four days after an indefinitely benching following a minor heart arrhythmia. Aldridge has averaged 17.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 blocked shots a game for the Spurs, who have won 11 of their past 12 contests and own the second-best record in the NBA at 52-14, just behind the Golden State Warriors (53-14).
