Zach Parise and Jason Pominville returned from the mumps, Eric Staal found his scoring touch and the Minnesota Wild finally were able to put their new-look lineup together. Staal scored twice and Devan Dubnyk made 20 saves as Minnesota held on for a 3-1 win over the San Jose Sharks on Sunday. The Anaheim Ducks continue their search for the consistency they have missed all season when they meet the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday night at the Honda Center. The Ducks emerged from their bye week Friday night with a 5-2 home win over the Toronto Maple Leafs but have lost seven of the past 12 games.
