The New York Knicks tried something new on Sunday. For the first half of Sunday’s matinee meeting with the NBA-leading Golden State Warriors, the Knicks’ in-game operations quirks — all the audiovisual non-basketball entertainment that has become so all-encompassing at arenas the world over as a game wends its way toward completion — just kind of … stopped operating. Phoenix Suns rookie Tyler Ulis and Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert shared the limelight Sunday with a pair of stunning buzzer beaters to lift their NBA Western Conference clubs to victory. Gobert's tip-in game winner in overtime was originally ruled no good, but after a video review the basket counted and the Jazz defeated the host Sacramento Kings 110-109. The Atlanta Hawks have been struggling with their 3-point defense. The Warriors, who rank No. 4 in the NBA in 3-point baskets and are good on 38.2 percent, make their only appearance in Atlanta on Monday night.
