New Orleans Pelicans and Phoenix Suns Thread

Team Tweets & News Articles
New Orleans Pelicans
Two teams that played basically on dead-even terms in three previous games this season hook up for a fourth and final time when the New Orleans Pelicans visit the Phoenix Suns on Monday night. After the teams split one-point overtime decisions, each winning on the road, in their first two contests this year, the Pelicans outfinished the Suns 9-4 in their most recent head-to-head in New Orleans to pull out a 111-106 victory on Feb. 6. DeMarcus Cousins had 28 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists for the Sacramento Kings, who beat the New Orleans Pelicans 105-99 on Sunday night for their third straight victory. Phoenix Suns
Draymond Green's triple-double was like no other in NBA history. Green scored only four points but finished with 12 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals as the Golden State Warriors beat Memphis 122-107 on Friday night for their first win over the Grizzlies in three tries this season. With his unique all-around performance on both ends of the floor, Green became the first player in league history to have a triple-double with fewer than 10 points. Continue to Article

Phoenix Suns
The game pits teams headed in opposite directions, although that was hard to tell Wednesday night when the Bulls got shellacked 123-92 by the Golden State Warriors. Chicago had an excuse: It was missing All-Star Jimmy Butler (bruised right heel) and standout sidekick Dwyane Wade (upper respiratory illness). The absence was the third in a row for Butler, but there's potential good news (for the Bulls, anyway) on the immediate horizon. Continue to Article
