Texas A&M wiped out a 13-point second-half deficit to defeat Georgia 63-62 on Saturday in one of the season's odder endings. The Bulldogs had the final possession trailing by one, but the clock inadvertently stopped with 5.6 seconds remaining. Georgia's J.J. Teyvon Myers scored 16 points and No. 10 West Virginia avoided one of the bigger upsets of the Big 12 season so far with a 74-72 win Saturday over short-handed Texas. Jevon Carter added 15 points for the Mountaineers (15-2, 4-1 Big 12), including two free throws in the final seconds that gave West Virginia a four-point lead. Canyon Barry scored 27 points, including four in overtime, and No. 23 Florida beat Georgia 80-76 on Saturday, handing the Bulldogs their 14th consecutive loss in Gainesville.
