Giannis Antetokounmpo arrives in Miami on Saturday as a freshly minted All-Star starter, the first Milwaukee Bucks player to earn that honor in 31 years. Antetokounmpo, a 22-year-old, 6-foot-11, 222-pound, multi-positional athlete known as "The Greek Freak", was named an All-Star on Thursday. Dennis Schroder scored 23 points, Paul Millsap added 14 and the Atlanta Hawks held back a late scare to beat the Chicago Bulls 102-93 on Friday night. The Bulls put up little resistance all night until their reserves went on a 33-4 run in the fourth quarter to pull within five on Bobby Portis' dunk with 1:08 remaining. Chris Bosh will likely be released by the Miami Heat on March 1 and the expected move could open the door to the 11-time All-Star forward being able to resume his NBA career next season. The Chicago Bulls are said to be examining the possibility of adding Bosh, who turns 33 in March. Chris Bosh, who helped the Miami Heat win two NBA crowns alongside LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, might reunite with Wade on the Chicago Bulls, according to a report Friday. An ESPN website report said Bosh, who has not played since last February due to blood clot issue, will likely be released by the Heat in a few weeks and that the Bulls were in the forefront of teams interested in the 11-time All-Star forward. The Heat could drop Bosh on February 9 after he will have missed a full year but could also wait until March 1 so Bosh would not be eligible to play for another club in this year's NBA playoffs, possibly pushing back a return to the 2017-18 campaign.
