Milwaukee Bucks
Stephen Curry and Russell Westbrook fought for one starting spot in the Western Conference. The NBA changed its All-Star voting rules earlier this season in the hopes of averting an electoral embarrassment. With LeBron James and James Harden leading the way, the league has its most deserving collection of All-Star starters in years. Continue to Article

The New Jersey Nets have not won a game in 2017 and have lost their last 11 in a row. The New Orleans Pelicans are responsible for one of those losses and they'll try to add another to the Nets' streak Friday night in the Smoothie King Center. The Pelicans beat the Nets 104-95 on Jan. 12 in Brooklyn despite playing without All-Star forward Anthony Davis, who left a 118-98 victory against Orlando on Wednesday to have his left hand X-rayed but returned and should be ready to go against New Jersey this time. Harden told ESPN's Doris Burke in an interview that he told the woman how ''blessed'' he was to be able to have a chance to meet her. Continue to Article

As 100th birthday gifts go, a Rockets win, a game ball autographed by the front-runner in the NBA’s Most Valuable Player race, and a hug and a chat with Houston’s most famous beard-bearer (sorry, Dallas Keuchel) seems pretty good. Milwaukee Bucks
Given a huge assist by the NBA schedule-makers, the New Orleans Pelicans took full advantage. Anthony Davis had 21 points and 15 rebounds and the Pelicans cruised past the road-weary, short-handed Orlando Magic 118-98 on Wednesday night. Tyreke Evans and Langston Galloway added 18 points each for the Pelicans, who never trailed after the first quarter and extended their lead to as many as 28 points. Continue to Article
