Jalen Lindsey scored nine of his 13 points in the second half to help Providence beat No. 21 Rhode Island 63-60 on Saturday and hand the Rams their third loss in four games. While the Friars have gone to the NCAA Tournament the last three years under Ed Cooley, the Rams have been building.
