New Orleans coach Alvin Gentry called his beleaguered team's five-game, Christmas holiday homestand critical to any chance the Pelicans might have of climbing out of a deep, early-season hole. Winslow set a career high for points and tied a career best in rebounds for the Heat, who raised Shaquille O'Neal's No. 32 jersey to the rafters in a halftime ceremony.
