D'Angelo Richardson drilled a 3-pointer and made two free throws in the final minute of the second overtime to lift Southern Mississippi to a 101-96 win over NAIA Tougaloo in the Golden Eagles' season-opener on Friday night. Richardson hit a 3-pointer with 34 seconds to play to put Southern Miss up 98-96 and he converted at the line at 10 seconds after a Bulldogs' turnover.
