Creighton is set for its first true road game Wednesday, but the Bluejays don't have to stray far from home for their initial challenge in a hostile environment. The 10th-ranked Bluejays will travel just under 60 miles west on Interstate 80 to play in-state rival Nebraska at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln. Justin Patton made all eight of his shots and scored 14 of his 17 points in the second half, and No. 12 Creighton shot 74 percent after halftime to break away from Loyola (Md.) for an 82-52 victory on Saturday. The Bluejays (6-0) couldn't shake the Greyhounds (2-4) in the first half, shooting 36.7 percent while getting out to a 30-25 lead. Having spent plenty of seasons as big game hunters, Creighton coach Greg McDermott doesn't mind that the Bluejays have become a team others would like to knock off. "We're in a league now where we've had an opportunity to play a number of ranked teams, so we've been that team," McDermott said.
