UConn says freshman point guard Alterique Gilbert will undergo surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder and will miss the rest of the season. Gilbert suffered the injury during the Huskies' win at Loyola Marymount on Nov. 17. The school says the surgery will be scheduled in the next few weeks to repair the damage and tighten the muscles in the shoulder. Continue to Article

South Carolina coach Frank Martin savored his team's victory over No. 25 Michigan and then went straight to the videotape. While his team enjoyed a flight to New York, Martin watched film of his last game at Kansas State - a loss to Syracuse in the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
