Milwaukee guard Akeem Springs has joined Minnesota next season as a graduate transfer. The Gophers on Tuesday announced the addition of Springs, who will be eligible to play immediately as a senior and is on track for a degree at Milwaukee. Springs, who is from Waukegan, Illinois, averaged 13.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 31.9 minutes in the 2015-16 season for the Panthers while shooting 49 percent from the field. Continue to Article

Villanova won the Big East regular-season title and is aiming for a second straight conference tournament crown for the first time.
