Two Maryland players have been hit with multiple charges for their roles in an on-campus incident involving a BB gun. According to the Washington Post, running back Lorenzo Harrison and wide receiver D.J. Turner were each charged with three counts of second-degree assault and three counts of reckless endangerment. University of Maryland Police say they have charged two football players with shooting three students with a pellet gun. The department said in a news release that Darryl Turner II of Glenarden and Lorenzo Harrison III of Clinton, who are both 19, were charged with three counts each of assault and reckless endangerment. The football team announced on Saturday that Turner, a receiver, and Harrison, a running back, were suspended indefinitely for violating the school's student-athlete code of conduct.
