After a season-opening 1-1-1 road trip and Thursday night's 3-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks, the Philadelphia Flyers will try again for their first win on home ice Saturday night when they take on the Carolina Hurricanes, who are coming off their first win of the season. The Flyers (1-2-1) will be without veteran right winger Dale Weise, who on Friday was suspended three games for an illegal check to the head of Anaheim defenseman Korbinianb Holzer. (The Sports Xchange) - Philadelphia Flyers forward Dale Weise received a three-game suspension from the NHL on Friday for his illegal check to the head of Anaheim Ducks defenseman Korbinian Holzer. Weise was previously suspended for three preseason games in 2013 for an illegal check to the head.
