On Saturday, the Bears will face another light-up-the-scoreboard team in Arizona State, setting up the kind of game fans love. The Bears (2-1) are rolling to start the season, averaging 47 points while ranking second nationally in passing offense (453 yards per game) and third in total offense (580.3). In two of the Longhorns’ three games this season, the Texas defense has allowed at least 47 points. Continue to Article

SEPTEMBER 17: Wide receiver Jordan Veasy #15 of the California Golden Bears can’t get his feet in bounds for a touchdown against safety P.J. Locke III #11 of the Texas Longhorns. It’s time to pump the brakes on the “Texas is back” caravan. The No. 11 Longhorns rolled into Cal with high hopes of being the bell cow in a Big 12 Conference that has vastly underachieved in the first three weeks and left with a 50-43 loss.
