Dane Evans threw for 282 yards and three touchdowns to Keevan Lucas in less than three quarters and Tulsa rolled to a 58-21 win over North Carolina A&T on Saturday. Evans and Lucas connected on a 51-yard scoring play late in the first quarter to give the Golden Hurricane a 24-0 lead. After another program-defining win last week, the Aggies will face back-to-back FBS opponents for the first time in school history when they visit Tulsa on Saturday. North Carolina A&T improved to 2-0 last weekend with the program's first-ever win over an FBS team, a wild 39-36 upset of Kent State in four overtimes. Tulsa will be a huge underdog coming in to face No. 4 Ohio State Saturday in front of 100,000 fans in storied Ohio Stadium, but the Golden Hurricane won't be lacking in confidence. Nearly every aspect of Tulsa's game was clicking last week when it pummeled San Jose State in its opener 45-10, showing signs that there could be major improvement from last year's 6-7 squad. Of course, Ohio State - which beat Bowling Green 77-10 in week one - will be a much tougher opponent, but Tulsa coach Philip Montgomery said his team played with maturity and emotion, and he expects players will carry that right into Columbus.
