Kentucky coach Mark Stoops says that junior defensive tackle Regie Meant is out indefinitely to handle an unspecified personal matter, leaving the Wildcats without one of their most experienced linemen. One of six returning defensive starters for Kentucky, Meant had 31 tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack while starting four of 10 games last season.
