Four Georgia-based fighter pilots are restricted from flight duties after their fighter jets swooped low over a football stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, as the Carolina Panthers practiced, U.S. Air Force officials said. The NFL has cleared Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison and Green Bay Packers linebackers Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers over an Al-Jazeera America documentary that linked them to performance-enhancing drugs. NFL stars James Harrison, Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers can start the regular season without having the specter of a league investigation over whether they used performance-enhancing drugs hanging over their heads.
