The Seattle Mariners hit fewer home runs than the New York Yankees, but got more scoring out of them. Mike Zunino and Kyle Seager each hit a three-run homer and Nelson Cruz added a solo shot as the Mariners rallied to beat the Yankees 7-5 Monday night. Ryan Lochte lost three major sponsors when swimsuit company Speedo USA, clothing giant Ralph Lauren and skin-care firm Syneron-Candela announced in quick succession they were dumping the swimmer over a drunken incident during the Rio Olympics that he initially described as an armed robbery. Salazar had to be pulled after one inning in his last start, Thursday at home against the Chicago White Sox. Continue to Article

Despite having a starting rotation that continues to be ravaged by injuries, the National League West-leading Los Angeles Dodgers remain a confident bunch heading into a three-game showdown beginning Tuesday with the second-place San Francisco Giants. "We're looking forward to it," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. Adrian Gonzalez launched three of the Dodgers' seven home runs and had a career-high eight RBIs in Monday's 18-9 romp against the Reds in Cincinnati. Continue to Article
