With Monday's trade deadline looming large for the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals, their bullpens continue to get made over as they square off Friday in the second contest of a four-game series. Daniel Descalso took a calculated risk in a big spot. With his team trying to rally against Mets closer Jeurys Familia, the Rockies first baseman stepped to the plate with runners on first and second and nobody out. The usually steady Familia stumbled for a second straight game, allowing two runs in the ninth inning and Colorado beat New York 2-1 Thursday for their seventh win in eight games.
