Detroit Tigers
The Detroit Tigers will be facing a much better and more confident Miami Marlins team Tuesday than the one they beat twice to open the 2016 season. The Tigers have stiffened their bullpen in the last week but their rotation is rubbery. Instead Miami will get a look at Mike Pelfrey, coming off his first relief appearance of the season, on Tuesday and lefty Daniel Norris on Wednesday. Continue to Article

Jon Snow has plenty of support from the North on HBO's "Game of Thrones." In baseball, he has at least one supporter in the South. Miami Marlins pitcher Tom Koehler is a big fan of (spoiler alert) Ned Stark's son  ... er ... the Lord Commander ... er ... the King of the North. He showed off that respect by dressing up as Snow in preparation of Sunday's season finale. We may have already given away too much above, so we'll try not to do so here. It's been a pretty big season for Snow. And given what fans may have learned about his lineage in the season finale, it's pretty clear he still has a big role to play in the final seasons. As far as Koehler's cosplay, well, it's looking a little rough. The wig, cape and sword work, but the next time you see Jon Snow wearing basketball shorts will be the first. Also, his swordplay could use some work. At the same time, cosplay is probably not the most important thing on Koehler's mind right now. He's in the middle of the season and the Marlins are playing well. Fans would probably prefer he remained focused on winning games, and not on buying realistic armor. [ Join a Yahoo Daily Fantasy Baseball contest now ] All bets are off during the offseason, though. Personally, we would like to see Koehler go all out once he has some free time. Take some time to really recreate an authentic Jon Snow costume.  As of right now, though, you could say Tom Koehler knows nothing about Jon Snow cosplay.  (BLS H/N: Cut 4 ) More MLB coverage from Yahoo Sports: - - - - - - - Chris Cwik is a writer for Big League Stew on Yahoo Sports. The last time the Diamondbacks saw the Philadelphia Phillies, Arizona was coming off a loss to Clayton Kershaw and a 4-5 homestand. The Phillies provided a salve, and the D-backs used a four-game sweep at Citizens Bank Park as a springboard to a 7-3 road trip, tying the franchise record for the best 10-game trip in club history. After both Arizona and Philadelphia endured walk-off losses Sunday, the teams will meet again in a three-game series that begins Monday in Phoenix, where the Diamondbacks have had much more trouble winning. Miami Marlins infielder Martin Prado may have played the hero during Sunday's 6-1 win over the Chicago Cubs, but he certainly looked like a villain during his post-game interview.  Prado was the star of the contest, hitting a three-run double in the eighth inning to put the nail in the Cubs' coffin. Because of that hit, Prado was asked to be on the Marlins post-game interview. That's when things got interesting. Prado starts out giving a normal interview until two of his Marlins teammates show up. One of them was Jose Fernandez, who struck out 13 over seven innings during the game. The second was an unidentified teammates in a monkey mask. Both of them proceeded to lather Prado's head and face with shaving cream. [ Join a Yahoo Daily Fantasy Baseball contest now ] Aside from the monkey mask, that's basically to be expected, right? Well, that's when things got weird. Instead of wiping off all the shaving cream, Prado put his cap and headset back on and proceeded to do the interview. He looked like a mix between classic horror villain Michael Myers and Robin Williams with cake frosting on his face from Mrs. Doubtfire.  Needless to say, he looked pretty terrifying. Prado clearly had the option to wipe off the shaving cream, as a towel was thrown to him at some point, but he just kept on going. We're not sure what to say, actually. It's one thing to be committed, it's another to give young children nightmares. Good luck sleeping tonight.
