Matt Boyd tried to do a little too much. Victor Martinez hit a tying two-run homer in the sixth inning to get Boyd off the hook for the loss, but the Detroit Tigers' bullpen fell apart, allowing nine runs in three innings in a 12-3 loss to the Oakland Athletics on Saturday.
