First, we start with a game you need to know about.   The Texas Rangers rotation got a big boost on Saturday with the return of All-Star Yu Darvish. Making his first start since Aug. 9, 2014, Darvish looked like he never missed a beat, let alone nearly 22 months after undergoing Tommy John surgery. In five innings of work, Darvish limited an impressive Pittsburgh Pirates offense to one run on three hits while striking out seven. A road trip that started out so well for the Baltimore Orioles can't end soon enough. Chris Tillman seeks a sixth consecutive win Sunday as the Orioles and first-place Cleveland Indians meet at Progressive Field. A second straight victory over the Los Angeles Angels last Saturday moved the Orioles a season-best 11 games over .500, but they dropped the series finale behind another dismal start from Ubaldo Jimenez. There was a time when Ubaldo Jimenez was comfortable on the mound at Progressive Field. Jimenez allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings, Baltimore committed four errors and the Orioles lost to Cleveland 11-4. Baltimore has lost five of its past six games. Continue to Article

Highlights of Saturday's Major League Baseball games: Royals 8, White Sox 7 Brett Eibner capped off an improbable Kansas City comeback with a walk-off single with two outs in the ninth as the Royals scored seven runs in the inning to defeat the Chicago White Sox 8-7. The Royals trailed 7-1 entering the ninth but sent 10 men to the plate and scored four runs with two outs, sending the White Sox to their fifth straight loss. Cubs 4, Phillies 1 Right-hander Kyle Hendricks halted a two-game losing streak with an impressive nine-inning effort as the Chicago Cubs beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1. Continue to Article
