The website for an auction house that specializes in sports memorabilia says it is offering the Washington Nationals jersey Bryce Harper was wearing on the day he and teammate Jonathan Papelbon got into a dugout dustup last season. Continue to Article

When Tanner Roark made an adjustment to stop tipping his pitches, the Miami Marlins quit hitting him as if they knew what was coming. Roark finally beat the team that kept beating him, pitching 6 2/3 innings Friday night to help the Washington Nationals past Miami 4-1. Roark (3-3) came into the game 0-3 in three starts versus the Marlins this season with an ERA of 8.40. Continue to Article

Miami Marlins ace Jose Fernandez continued his recent run of success with another dominating performance against the Washington Nationals while pitching opposite Joe Ross last weekend. Fernandez improved to 5-0 with a 1.09 ERA in eight starts against the Nationals (26-16) and beat them for the second time this season Sunday after allowing one run and four hits while striking out 11 over seven innings of a 5-1 win in the nation's capital. Sunday's start came almost two years to the day of Fernandez (5-2, 3.21 ERA) having Tommy John surgery, and he was named NL Player of the Week on Monday. Continue to Article

The Washington Nationals may be censoring Danny Espinosa's facial hair  at Nationals Park, but the Potomac Nationals are doing their part to keep its memory alive.   On Friday, Washington's Class A affiliate announced its six bobblehead promotions for the 2016, and one of those will pay homage to Espinosa's facial hair. Specifically, the Fu Manchu he sported during spring training in 2015.  Thank you @PNats42 . This is awesome! pic.twitter.com/kV6I0X0PGq — NatsBobbles (@NatsBobbles) May 20, 2016 This is fantastic. It also continues a tradition of Potomac honoring Nationals' players crazy facial hair. [Elsewhere: Own Bryce Harper's jersey from dugout fight with Jonathan Papelbon ] In 2014, they made a special bobblehead featuring Jayson Werth and his out of control (in a good way) beard . Now it's Espinosa's turn, even though he decided to part with his Fu Manchu over a year ago.  As the story goes, Espinosa has a tradition of growing out and styling his facial hair during the offseason with the intent of keeping it through team photo day at spring training. That way the look lives on during the regular season every time his photo is featured at the ballpark. Last season, Espinosa went with the Fu Manchu you see featured in the bobblehead. This year, it was a thicker, fuller and darker beard, but the Nationals decided to instead use photos of a clean shaven Espinosa during home games. The exact reason that decision was made is unknown. Even general manager Mike Rizzo sounded confused and not entirely on board with the decision, but so it goes.  Continue to Article
