Texas Rangers
There aren't many baseball players as talented, quirky, and fun as Adrian Beltre. The Texas Rangers third baseman is still a great player at age 37 (and in his 19th year in the big leagues). He has a well-known aversion to having his head touched. And now you can add mid at-bat dancing to the list of cool things Adrian Beltre does. In the top of the fourth inning of Sunday's Rangers-Detroit Tigers game, Beltre was leading off against Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander. Beltre took a called strike on the first pitch, but the second pitch was inside and close to his thighs. In response, Beltre literally danced back out of the way, just as casual as could be. [ Join a Yahoo Daily Fantasy Baseball contest now ] Beltre's prancing didn't go unnoticed. Tigers bench player Andrew Romine was particularly inspired by Beltre's tap dancing, so he did his own version in the dugout.  He's clearly trying to start a new dance craze, right? The announcers pretty much thought so, saying they thought Romine looked like MC Hammer. "All he needs is the parachute pants." You be the judge! Between Beltre's happy feet and Yadier Molina's push-ups from last week, is this the start of a new trend of mid at-bat antics? Let's all hope so, because it would definitely bring even more joy and fun to the game we all love. Chicago White Sox
The Texas Rangers right-hander hasn't given up too much other than home runs in his recent dominance against the Chicago White Sox, and he'll seek to add to that in Monday night's series opener. Lewis has had a problem with the long ball over the past three seasons with 59 allowed in 68 starts. Ten of the 14 runs he's surrendered this season have come via homer, and Edwin Encarnacion's two-run shot Wednesday was one of his only major miscues in a 4-3 loss in Toronto. Continue to Article

Maybe the Detroit Tigers should have waited a week before trading Bobby Wilson. The journeyman catcher came back to haunt the Tigers on Sunday, hitting a tiebreaking grand slam in the eighth inning to lift the Texas Rangers to an 8-3 win over Detroit. Wilson was traded from the Tigers to Texas on Tuesday and almost immediately helped the Rangers to a three-game sweep in Motown. Continue to Article

Minnesota right-hander Tyler Duffey became the first Twins pitcher in nearly four years to strike out four batters in an inning. Duffey struck out Brett Lawrie swinging before getting Garcia to chase a pitch that bounced in front of catcher Juan Centeno. After Navarro's double, Duffey struck out Austin Jackson.
