Golden State Warriors
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- - Andrew Bogut has taken to publicly calling himself unflattering names. Such was his mood Monday when someone inquired about the Golden State center often appearing mean and nasty. As long as Bogut and the defending champion Warriors keep playing the kind of defense that has helped them set the tone so far in these playoffs without MVP Stephen Curry, he won't even mind if anybody else uses those words to describe him either. ''I like our core and I like our bench, which was really good this year,'' Rivers said three days after the Clippers were eliminated from the playoffs by the Portland Trail Blazers in six games. The Clippers are coming off their fourth consecutive season of 50 or more victories. Continue to Article

Golden State Warriors
Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson has urged the struggling NBA franchise to target LeBron James and Kevin Durant as they attempt to bounce back from the worst season in their history. The Lakers crashed to a 17-65 losing record this season, the second year in a row they have suffered 60 defeats or more. Former player and current Golden State Warriors assistant Luke Walton was named as their new head coach on Friday, replacing Byron Scott who was fired on April 24. Continue to Article
