Arizona Diamondbacks
Following Robbie Ray's lead, the Arizona Diamondbacks' rotation is finally rounding into form. Seeking a fourth straight strong start, Ray attempts to pitch the Diamondbacks to a seventh win in eight games in Sunday's series finale with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Of a group that added a former Cy Young Award winner in Zack Greinke and a 2015 All-Star in Shelby Miller, Ray (1-0, 1.96 ERA) has been the most consistent performer through the season's early stages. Not Pedro Martinez. Maeda stands alone, and it looks like he'll be standing for a long time to come.  Continue to Article

Indians 10, Tigers 1 Corey Kluber collected his first win of the season and Yan Gomes tied his career high by driving in five runs as the Cleveland Indians overwhelmed the Detroit Tigers 10-1. Kluber lost his first three starts, when the Indians only scored a combined three runs. Nationals 2, Twins 0 Tanner Roark struck out a career-high 15 batters in seven innings and Ryan Zimmerman drove in two runs in the first as the Washington Nationals beat the Minnesota Twins 2-0. To say Chris Herrmann was off to a slow start with the Arizona Diamondbacks is an understatement. Hermmann drove in four runs with a home run and double, Rubby De La Rosa gave up three hits over six-plus innings, and the Diamondbacks beat the Pirates 7-1. ''Oh man, it's been driving me crazy,'' Herrmann said of his season-opening slump. Continue to Article
