Washington Capitals
Closing time is here for three Stanley Cup contenders. The Capitals and the Stars are their conference's top seeds, and they're at home against opponents that have looked overmatched at times. Nothing is quite that simple for the Sharks, who face an enormous test in Game 5 (10:30 p.m. ET, CNBC). Continue to Article

Washington Capitals
In a career that saw him set nearly every offensive record in the NHL, few people could claim to have shut down Wayne Gretzky inside an arena.  After Wednesday night, however, one person can: Janet Jones, his wife. The hockey royal couple were watching the Washington Capitals take on the Philadelphia Flyers in Game 4 of their series, when a camera caught The Great One lingering for a Wet One. Janet shook her head and stared up at the video screen instead, leaving Wayne hanging there as the camera slowly zoomed in on him, giving the entire thing a “Curb Your Enthusiasm” vibe. As one would expect the all-time leader in assists would do, he made a second attempt at a pass. Alas, she went all Joel Otto on him and he was denied. No word on how this eventually played out, or if it will at all affect his Conn Smythe candidacy. -- Greg Wyshynski  is a writer for Yahoo Sports. It’s our semi-weekly Puck Daddy NHL mailbag, the Two-Minute Minor! Among this week’s questions from the readers:  - What else can fans possibly throw on the ice? - Are the Washington Capitals for real? - How to deal with playoff anxiety? - Where does Bruce Boudreau bounce next? These are the questions that Puck Daddy editor Greg Wyshynski faced in this week’s Two Minute Minor, courtesy of you, the dedicated puckheads.  The Two Minute Minor is our biweekly look at the NHL.
