Kawhi Leonard has won his second straight NBA Defensive Player of the Year award after helping the San Antonio Spurs have the league's best defense. Leonard beat out Draymond Green in voting Monday to become the first noncenter to win the award in consecutive seasons since Dennis Rodman in 1989-90 and 1990-91. Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley is unlikely to play the rest of the first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks after suffering a right hamstring strain in Game One. Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said on Sunday that Bradley underwent an MRI exam after being injured in the fourth quarter of Saturday night's 102-101 loss in Atlanta. "So I would say very unlikely the rest of the series." (The Sports Xchange) - Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry did not practice Sunday and is questionable for Game Two after he rolled his right ankle in Saturday's Western Conference first-round series opener against the Houston Rockets. Golden State coach Steve Kerr said Curry was "doing a little better" on Sunday and will be monitored leading up to Monday's contest. "He'll get treatment today, go get some rest, get off his feet, and we'll do the same thing tomorrow at shootaround and see how he's feeling," Kerr told reporters. Continue to Article
