Stan Van Gundy undertook the project of rebuilding the Detroit Pistons back into a contender as coach and president of basketball operations prior to last season and acknowledges there's still plenty of work to be done to reach that level. The Miami Heat could face the same opponent whether they open at home or on the road. The Orlando Magic don't want to lose another home finale and may be facing the right opponent to close out their season at Amway Arena with a victory. The Magic have taken 18 of their last 19 home games against the Milwaukee Bucks, although they may again be without Victor Oladipo and Aaron Gordon in Monday night's matchup. The Miami Heat returned center Hassan Whiteside to the starting lineup for the first time since Jan. 20, and the move paid off in a 118-96 win over the Orlando Magic on Sunday night at AmericanAirlines Arena.
