St. Louis Blues
There is no jostling for postseason position left for the Nashville Predators. While awaiting their first-round opponent, the Predators look to build on their first win in a week and a half when they host the slumping Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night. Nashville (40-26-14) picked up one point during a four-game losing streak that kept it from challenging for a top-three spot in the Central Division. Continue to Article

Chicago Blackhawks
If you’re a diehard puckhead, you’re likely struggling with the start of Major League Baseball season.  Sure, it’s fantastic to see the diamonds filled with overpriced sluggers with questionable performance enhancement history, and the stands filled with blanket-covered fans building small fires on the empty seats next to them to stay warm during April night games. But it’s nearly the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Your mind is on blaring horns and goal celebrations. So Zee Emm on YouTube offered a solution: a sticks-and-bats mash-up. What if you took the goal horns and goal celebration songs from hockey teams and played them after their friendly neighborhood Major League Baseball team’s home runs? (Please note that in some cases, the local minor league hockey team is swapped in for the NHL, like for Kansas City, Milwaukee and Houston.) After watching all 19 minutes (!), we can say that the Chicago Blackhawks’ deafening horn and “Chelsea Dagger” goal song are easily applied to both the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox. And that the addition of Andrew W.K. to any home-run trot is an instant improvement – right, Pittsburgh Penguins fans? Conversely, a Jose Bautista bat-flip improves the Toronto Maple Leafs’ goal horn mightily. Welcome back, baseball! Chicago Blackhawks
Antoine Vermette was greeted warmly in his return to Chicago on Tuesday night after helping the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup last year. Andrew Ladd scored two power-play goals after Artem Anisimov was knocked out of the game by a questionable hit from Vermette, and the surging Blackhawks beat the Arizona Coyotes 6-2 on Tuesday night. Anisimov was driven into the boards near Chicago's bench midway through the second, leading to a boarding penalty and game misconduct call on Vermette. Continue to Article
