Now it's Smart's turn to try to deliver some postseason success, although the way this team limped into March has a familiar look to seasons past. The public message when Texas hired Smart wasn't explicitly ''win in March'' but it might as well have been. Seniors Matt Bohannon, Paul Jesperson and Wes Washpun were stuck on a bus, heads hung low, after yet another game that Northern Iowa let slip away. The Panthers were 10-11 and 2-6 in Missouri Valley play after losing at Illinois State, looking nothing like the team that had already beaten North Carolina and Iowa State. Texas coach Shaka Smart said injured center Cam Ridley's availability for postseason tournaments remains unclear.
