Michigan State senior Bryn Forbes is statistically the best 3-point shooter in college basketball this season and now he has a place in the Big Ten Conference record book to prove it. It's no surprise that he tore up Rutgers, which came into the game ranked 300th in the nation at defending the 3-point line and is now one loss away from finishing the regular season winless in conference play. Forbes' performance attracted attention on Twitter from fans of assorted NBA teams speculating how he might look wearing their favorite team's uniform next season. It also drew praise from former Michigan State star Magic Johnson and big man Draymond Green, who plays alongside Curry with Golden State. Oklahoma’s player of the year candidate Buddy Hield is third in the nation making 47.6 percent. Bryn Forbes scored a career-high 33 points, hitting a Big Ten Conference record 11 3-pointers, and No. 2 Michigan State woke up in the second half to rout Rutgers 97-66 on Wednesday night, handing the Scarlet Knights their 17th straight loss.
