The 20th-ranked Aggies can clinch the conference tournament's top seed with a home win over the resurgent Commodores, who head into Saturday's matchup still with a shot of earning a share of the league title. Texas A&M (19-11, 12-5) already has clinched at least a piece of its first SEC crown during a season in which it has endured plenty of ups and downs. When Kentucky's Isaac Humphries got a technical late in overtime on Saturday for slamming the ball to the court, there was a lot of confusion as to exactly what happened and why. The Texas A&M Aggies weren't worried about any of that and were overcome instead by a sense of relief - and gratitude. Tyler Davis' putback at the buzzer gave Texas A&M a 79-77 win over No. 14 Kentucky after the technical foul on Humphries cost the Wildcats the lead in the final seconds. Continue to Article

Texas A&M had lost four games in a row and was trailing big early against Mississippi on Tuesday night. The Aggies knew they had to turn things around and do so quickly before things got out of hand. Texas A&M did just that as Danuel House scored 13 points to lead four Texas A&M players in double figures, and the Aggies snapped their skid with a 71-56 win. Continue to Article
