Golden State Warriors
Oklahoma City could be the ultimate finale to Golden State's lengthy road trip. The heavyweight matchup might serve as a preview to the Western Conference final many want to see, and the Warriors could start the progression toward that showdown by clinching the league's first playoff spot. Golden State Warriors
The Knicks pounced on a Magic team that still appeared staggered from the beating they took the night before. Carmelo Anthony had 19 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, and New York quickly picked up where Stephen Curry left off in defeating Orlando 108-95 on Friday. Golden State Warriors
It's hard to top a 51-point, 10-3-pointer, eight-assist, seven-rebound explosion that sets a new NBA record for consecutive games with a made 3 and improves your team to an unthinkable 52-5, but Stephen Curry found a pretty cool way to try. After Thursday's win over the Orlando Magic, the Golden State Warriors superstar caught a glimpse of a young fan holding a sign proclaiming that it was his birthday and asking the NBA's reigning Most Valuable Player if he could have his sneakers as a present. Before he exited the court, Steph took off the kicks in which he'd just torched the Magic and directed that they be given to the fan: [ Follow Dunks Don't Lie on Tumblr:  The best slams from all of basketball] That's one heck of a gift for the young fella, who apparently paid his own way to Amway Center and left with the souvenir of a lifetime: Happy Birthday buddy!!!!
