Florida Panthers
Robby Fabbri and Patrik Berglund scored on breakaways and Brian Elliott stopped 37 shots as the St. Louis Blues held on for a 2-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday night. Elliott was superb until Nikita Kucherov scored in the final minute for Tampa Bay, which lost for the third time in four games and had a nine-game home winning streak stopped. Fabbri scored his 13th goal, beating Ben Bishop with a perfectly-placed shot less than a minute into the second period. Continue to Article

Florida Panthers
The Florida Panthers' hopes of staying atop the Atlantic Division are appearing tenuous with their recent struggles. Coming off one of their most lopsided defeats of the season, the Panthers look to avoid a fifth loss in six games Monday night when they face the team that started them on their cold stretch, the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Predators scored two goals in the opening nine minutes as the Panthers gave up at least four for a third straight contest. Continue to Article

Carter Hutton doesn't get to be in the net that often but he made the most of his opportunity. The Predators backup goaltender, playing in just his ninth game in place of starter Pekka Rinne, made 22 saves and Calle Jarnkrok scored twice to lead Nashville to a 5-0 win over the Florida Panthers on Saturday night. ''Whenever they give me starts, I?play,'' said Hutton, who ran his record to 6-2-1 and picked up his second shutout. Continue to Article

Pittsburgh Penguins
Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron isn’t proficient in fighting. That’s because he doesn’t do it a lot, at least in the regular season. On Thursday Bergeron and Winnipeg Jets forward Blake Wheeler dropped the gloves and tussled in their game at MTS Centre. The fight didn’t take long but it was memorable. This is because it was only Bergeron’s second regular season fight in his career.  The other fight came on Dec. 31, 2013 between Bergeron and 6-foot-8 defenseman Tyler Myers, who at the time played for the Buffalo Sabres. Bergeron’s also had two playoff fights – one in 2013 against Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin, and another in 2009 against then-Montreal Canadiens defenseman Josh Gorges. This was just Wheeler’s seventh fight in his NHL career. The fight wasn’t Bergeron’s only highlight of the evening. He scored two goals in a 6-2 drubbing of the Jets. The win for the Bruins helped erase some of the sting of a 9-2 loss on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings. “It was a good response,” coach Claude Julien told reporters after the game. “Maybe we were a little shaky there at the beginning, a fair portion of the first period. We gave them a couple goals. We really wanted to try and minimize our goals against on this road trip. So it was nice we were able to shut them down after that. We kind of found our game again, started playing smart, and doing the right things.”  The Bruins improved to 29-19-6. Their 64 points are six ahead of the Montreal Canadiens for the final Atlantic Division playoff spot.  MORE FROM YAHOO HOCKEY   - - - - - - - Josh Cooper is an editor for Puck Daddy on Yahoo Sports.
