WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -- Jaron Blossomgame had 22 points and 13 rebounds to help Clemson beat Wake Forest 76-62 on Tuesday night. Jordan Roper scored all 16 of his points after halftime for the Tigers (14-8, 7-3 Atlantic Coast Conference), who took control in the second half to erase an eight-point halftime deficit and gradually pull away in the final 9 1/2 minutes for a league road win. After Notre Dame's collective heart dropped when its leading scorer went down, the Fighting Irish now believe they're prepared to move forward. Coach Mike Brey has ruled Demetrius Jackson out Thursday night when No. 25 Notre Dame looks to match its longest conference winning streak since joining the ACC and end its recent struggles at Syracuse. In what's been a roller-coaster season for Syracuse, an alteration to the schedule feels like par for the course. The resurgent Orange will fly out Sunday morning for that night's game at No. 13 Virginia, pushed back one day by the blizzard that's rocked the East Coast.
