Baylor
After struggling against an aggressive defense in its last game, Baylor now must face the nation's most press-happy team. It's a scenario the No. 15 Bears have successfully handled in the past, however, which should breed confidence heading into Saturday's visit to 14th-ranked West Virginia. Baylor (17-5, 6-3 Big 12) enters this key Big 12 matchup off its worst offensive showing of the season, held to season lows in points and shooting percentage in Monday's 67-59 loss to resurgent Texas. Baylor
When Texas lost center Cameron Ridley to a foot injury earlier this season there were questions about how far the Longhorns might be able to go without him. After all, he was averaging a double-double and was a focal point in scouting reports for every opponent. The Longhorns didn’t react well at first to losing the big man but have adapted and now they’re the hottest team in the Big 12 Conference after going on the road and beating No. 15 Baylor on Monday night 67-59.
