Jeremy Lin scored 24 points and the Hornets rallied in the second half for a 106-97 victory over James and the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night. Kobe Bryant scored a season-high 38 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 119-115 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves that halted the Lakers' 10-game losing streak. With Tuesday's victory, the Lakers avoided the humiliation of setting a franchise record for consecutive defeats.
