Jamel Artis' 3-pointer with 33 seconds remaining helped Pittsburgh rally for a 74-72 victory over Florida State on Saturday. Artis and Sterling Smith led the Panthers (16-3, 5-2 ACC) with 16 points each while James Robinson added 14 and Michael Young 13. Despite missing its best player for much of Saturday afternoon, Notre Dame got 16 points each from Bonzie Colson and Steve Vasturia in a 76-49 win over Boston College. Demetrius Jackson, Notre Dame's leading scorer at 17.6 points per game, left early in the first half and did not return after suffering a hamstring injury. Rathan-Mayes's may not play in Saturday's game against Pittsburgh after the Atlantic Coast Conference assists leader didn't play in the Seminoles' 84-65 loss at No. 17 Louisville. Hamilton said on Friday he ''hasn't made up his mind yet'' on if the 6-foot-4 point guard, who averages a team-leading 30 minutes per game, will face the Panthers. Continue to Article

Chinanu Onuaku has played a key role in helping Louisville become one of the nation's top defensive teams. As the sophomore big man looks to keep developing offensively, the 17th-ranked Cardinals try to build on one of their best defensive performances and capture a 14th consecutive home win Wednesday night against up-and-coming Florida State. After suffering its first ACC loss at Clemson on Jan. 10, Louisville improved its defensive field-goal percentage for a fourth consecutive contest Thursday when it limited then-No. 20 Pittsburgh to a season-worst 28.6 percent in a 59-41 home win. Boston College
Hampered by a struggling point guard, Miami is in danger of starting 0-3 on the road in the ACC for the first time in five years. Miami (13-3, 2-2) opened ACC play by beating Syracuse and Florida State at home by a combined 26 points. ''We're going to need to do a heck of a lot better job," said coach Jim Larranaga, whose team allowed the Tigers to shoot 48.2 percent after letting the Cavaliers hit 51.1. Continue to Article
