New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist made enough early stops and his teammates finally generated offense in a 4-2 victory against the host Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night. Lundqvist made 22 of his season-high 45 saves in the first period. Sabourin had moved in on Backes near the sideboards for what appeared to be a standard, clean hit. Continue to Article

BOSTON - While Danton Heinen already brings value to the Bruins as a versatile two-way winger capable of playing up and down the lineup, the 24-year-old could be so much more with an uptick in offensive production. Heinen shows flashes from time to time, and he did that again in Saturday night's 5-2 win over the Ottawa Senators, in which he scored the game-winning goal during a third-period onslaught from the Black and Gold. The play was largely powered by Heinen. Continue to Article
